Research & development
There is a great need for research and development within the road, road traffic and road transport sectors. For optimum results, it is essential that this be multi-disciplinary including areas such as the humanities, natural sciences, medicine technology and economics.
The Nordic Road Association's technical committees are not in general engaged in research and development projects of their own. However, through their being comprised of members with different professional backgrounds and areas of expertise, these technical committees are able to work in depth from a broad platform to initiate research projects and to spread the results obtained.
